About

2Dart is a free dartgame and scorekeeper for the Nintendo DS.

2Dart started years ago as an online dart-scorekeeper, which I used when playing darts at home. The simple interface and lack of features always made me want to rewrite the whole bunch, but I never did.

Now, four years later, I finaly picked up the project and wrote down the new requirements. One of them includes portability, so I can use it when darting at a friend's place. At that moment I looked at my Nintendo DS, and the idea was born.

When the first version was ready, I liked it so much that I decided to share it with the rest of the world. After it's first release I kept developing new features. Now it even has a built-in game so you can still play darts, even when not around a dartboard!

Current features (version 0.9)

Dartgame mode

A little simple dartgame that seems to be (for me at least) addictive.

Scorekeeper mode

Do you play darts and getting tired of counting? This mode will help you!

301, 501, cricket and tactics game mode

I hope you're familiar with these gametypes, since I haven't included the rules...

Difficulty-levels: Easy, medium and hard

These are only available in dartgame mode!

Computer opponent (new)

So you don't feel lonely! There are 9 difficulty levels to choose from...

Game statistics

For all x01 and cricket game variants.

Left/right-handed user mode

I've had it with right-hand only software! (yes, I'm a lefty ;-)

Button usage

Select = toggle hand
A = action (buttons with yellow text)
B = back

Planned features / To-do

Numeric keyboard (at scorekeeper)

For fast score adding (handy for experienced dart players).

Throw advicement (at dartgame and scorekeeper)

Not sure where to place the next dart? Why not ask for advice!

Installation

Just follow these simple steps:

Download the latest zipfile below
Unzip the file
Copy the 2Dart.nds file to your DS flashcard
Boot the DS with the flashcard and select 2Dart
